I’m Ames Cyrway, and I’m an art consultant for those who struggle with the backend of their business so that they can focus on their trade. I have a passion for assisting other artists in technology and management by creating assets that help with product organization, image capture and graphic design for both web and print, eCommerce, and social media assistance.
As an artist myself, I understand the need to be in the zone: a blank canvas or a work in progress, the tools of the trade within easy reach, maybe a favorite playlist or video in the background. The focus is on the creative process. But what comes after the artwork is finished, after you put on your signature? Do you need to have the work photographed, whether for inventory, promotion, or making prints? Does it need to be framed? How do you price your work? Are you ready for the next art show or gallery installation, or are you scrambling the night before the event? Many artists find themselves ill-prepared because these tasks fail to hold interest.
On top of being an illustrator using both traditional and digital mediums, I have a background in graphic communications and information technology. I’ve developed solutions to help with the aspects that many artists and artisans struggle with. I can provide instruction for those do-it-yourselfers with organization, digital media, and ecommerce tools, as well as provide full service management.
